Core Activities

Sasneham’s mission is to advance the development of children and youth through education across the country.

We pursue this mission through multi pronged strategies:

Sponsor Education: Sasneham was started by them who wanted to see a change in the way children were treated across the country. We dedicate our work to increasing children’s opportunities for a better life, especially through free education. To this end we sponsor children education upto class 12th and in certain cases beyond that too. We adopt children whose families have no means or motivation to send them to school, liaise with the parents and schools and ensure that the children get into school. Thereafter, their schooling is monitored on a regular basis.

Media Ventures: Create and promote books, films, and documentary photography that help children and adults understand and appreciate the multicultural country in which we live.

Knowledge Management: Our partners also have much to share with each other and with the development of children as service providers and advocate reaching the world’s most vulnerable children and youth. Our knowledge management initiative aims to gather, distill, and disseminate this knowledge amongst partners as well as to the wider development and philanthropic communities.

We are currently designing an Internet portal accessible to partners that will facilitate exchange among grantees and provide links to various resources, including nonprofit tool kits, technical resources, and potential funding sources.
